Our Devon Designers have been set another landscape design & build project, this time, in their home town of Chudleigh. The client has specified a green theme, which suits us to the ground! -Raised vegetable patches, planting schemes that give privacy but do not compromise sunlight and possibly even a small water feature. The small plot belongs to a terraced house in a rural area of Chudleigh and should pose quite a challenge for our designers when considering the requirements. The concept is being finalised this week and then we will be drawing up the garden plan soon after. Watch this space! Below is the plot at the time of the design consultancy work.

Our Devon Designers have been at it again, we've organised meetings with patent attourneys next week to discuss the new product development for our innovative furniture range with the intention of applying for a patent and then commercially exploiting the new product potential. We'll keep you posted!

We’ve made some real progress with our household waste design project thanks to the help from all who took part in our Household Waste Survey. We hope to be finalising the concept very soon and then starting the proof of principle prototype (PPP) in order to test the design theory, so we may be calling on a few of those who have helped us with the survey. If you would like to be part of this testing stage please contact Agouti Design Devon to have your say on a product that’ll break our throwaway culture.

Of late we've been designing a few new products. One is a new household waste system to try and reduce the amount of waste we throw into landfill. We went on a trip to visit Teignbridge recycling, composting and landfill sites to get up close and personal with our household waste. Here is a sneaky preview into what we saw!

Each month we will replace the background image of our website to correspond to a relevant issue within the world for that month. This month, due to our launch, we have related the background to our Agouti's own rain forest origins.

In the world of web design, we've been busy creating a new look for Fabien's enhanced hypnotherapy website. Fabien came to us frustrated with web designers. To be quite honest we agree, web designers can be very frustrating. We decided to cut to the chase and redesign Fabien's site without all the technical complexities and with clean functionality. So far so good as Fabien say's "good work guys, that's the best it's looked so far!" See for yourselves the work we've done for Enhanced Hypnotherapy.

Hello again. Over the last month the Agouti Design Team have been working our sustainable cotton socks off to try and design an elegant branding solution for Dartmoor Circle. We've completed the brand design work, designed the stationery and in the process of setting up their website.
